Research Manager (M/F)

Challenge

Our client has been Germany’s leading information provider in the commercial real estate sector for almost 30 years, providing their clients with information that aids them to make informed decisions and complete successful deals. Our client works with investors, asset managers, brokers, banks, project developers, valuers, and consultants.

The Research Team is an integral part of our clients’ company and it is responsible for the information tool. It provides the industry with news and is the basis for efficient work, well-founded decisions and ultimately for a successful business.

Our client is looking for a Research Manager in Freiburg. As a Research Manager, this professional will have to actively manage and expand a successful and highly motivated team and ensure the timeliness, quality, and quantity of real estate data within the information system. This professional will be the contact person for our clients’ customers for questions regarding data evaluation and special projects within our clients’ Premium database and close cooperation with the sales, editorial and marketing departments to increase market turnover. As a Research Manager, this professional will have to support the sales team with complex customer inquiries and participate in trade fairs and events and actively expand the network.

Profile

• First management experience in a data-based and metric-controlled environment
• Knowledge of the real estate industry
• Strong social skills, negotiation skills, presentation and communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of the German language (C1 or higher)
• Entrepreneurial and result-oriented thinking and acting
• University degree
