Senior Java Developer (M/F)

Challenge

Our client has been Germany’s leading information provider in the commercial real estate sector for almost 30 years, providing their clients with information that aids them to make informed decisions and complete successful deals. This company works with investors, asset managers, brokers, banks, project developers, valuers and consultants.

This professional will be integrated in a team of back and front-end developers and designers, and will be maintaining as well as further developing one of the most successful and comprehensive research information tools in the commercial real estate market in Germany.

Profile

• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Knowledge of the German language (B2 or higher)
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to relocate to Germany (Freiburg)
• In depth knowledge of modern Enterprise Java (EJB, Spring MVC), Tomcat, JBoss, PostgreSQL and Hadoop
• Experience with Agile software development, Continuous Integration and Unit Testing (Maven and Jenkins)
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Knowledge of PostGIS (Spatial Searches) is a plus
